

Strength is the ability of the muscles to overcome resistance. Keep this in mind that we can overcome resistance ONCE(MAXIMUM STRENGTH), With High Speed(EXPLOSIVE STRENGTH) and Repetitively(STRENGTH ENDURANCE).
Healthy life requires Movement and here comes the role of POWER.
POWER – FORCE X Velocity or to perform an activity in a given time.
Power training typically involves exercises which apply the maximum amount of force as fast as possible; on the basis that strength + speed = power. Jumping with weights or throwing weights are two examples of power training exercises.
Therefore STRENGTH TRAINING OR SPEED TRAINING are not ideal for a healthy lifestyle rather POWER TRAINING.
